LIGHTROOM WORKSHOP INSTRUCTOR
Jon C. Haverstick
Jon C. Haverstick is a working photographer and educator based in Orange County, California with over 30 years of experience in corporate/commercial, portrait, product, automotive, and event, and architectural photography. He lives and breathes Lightroom and Photoshop.
Jon teaches digital and film photography, Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop, and Adobe Premiere (video editing) at several Southern California colleges, and he is available for travel. As a member of the Adobe Community Professionals, he has further established expertise and hosts monthly Orange County Adobe Photoshop User Group.
He is also an Adobe Community Professional and hosts monthly meetings with the Orange County Adobe Photoshop User Group.
SCREENWRITING WORKSHOP INSTRUCTOR
Gary Allen is a multifaceted screenwriter with a unique style that stems from a background in design, comedy, and new media content. Gary started his career with a variety of short films that have screened at festivals across the United States: San Diego Film Festival, Miami Film Festival, Telluride, LA Comedy Fest, Newport Beach Film Festival and a handful of others.
With a love for film, Gary earned his MFA in screenwriting from the Academy of Art University where he won a Leo Award for the web series “Pavement,” which sold to Horizon Axis Studios a year before graduation.
After graduating, Gary produced the award-winning series “Time Out” and “Loyalty Club” and contributed to online content studios including Buzzfeed and Full Screen. Gary has taught screenwriting and film development at The Art Institute of California in San Diego and Orange County for over five years and recently wrapped three films with various studios in Los Angeles and Texas.
